This Association has resolved to encourage an improved standard in the level of information to be provided by Vendors at on-property ram sales.
The recommended minimum information is:
Date when last shorn.
Age of sheep.
Date of mid side sample collection -
(to be taken as close as possible to six weeks but no more than eight weeks prior to sale).
Mean micron.
Standard deviation.
Co-efficient of variation.
%>30 micron (comfort factor).
Spinning fineness.
Name of Testing House.
Members who provide information which includes the recommended minimum information may use the following Association endorsement in sale catalogues and other related material:
