NSW SHEEP HANDLING & JUDGING WORKSHOPS:

Open to all young people with an interest in the Merino who wish to either learn new skills or hone their existing skills in show preparation and handling, general husbandry and Merino (Junior) Judging.  The aim is not just to educate future judges and teach sheep handling but more importantly to encourage a career in the sheep and wool industry.
For more information and to register an expression of interest, contact Edward Dugan on Tel: 02 9763 2744 email ed@merinos.com.au

MERINOSELECT Workshops:  Sheep Genetics is currently offering a series of workshops for Merino ram breeders called ‘An Introduction to MERINOSELECT’. The workshops will be run by MERINOSELECT field staff in any Australian region where 10 or more breeders show interest in attending. The aim of the workshops is to inform Merino ram breeders about MERINOSELECT, with no commitment to subscribe to the program. The workshops are run at a cost of $30 per business, which includes lunch and teaching resources.
See Flyer.
